ASKECHO SLC-130 Silent Golf Bag Unboxing

SLC-130

Hey, fellow golf enthusiasts! Today, I'm super excited to unbox and share my first impressions of the ASKECHO SLC-130 Silent Golf Bag—the brand-new 2024 model that promises to solve a common problem we all face.

Before we dive in, a quick disclosure: ASKECHO sent me this bag for review. However, I’m not being paid to make this video, and no one from the company has influenced what I’m about to say. You’ll be getting my honest thoughts, straight from the heart, just like always.
Alright, let’s jump right into it. First off, the packaging—this thing came well-packed and arrived super fast (just 3 days to my doorstep). No damage, and it was in pristine condition when I got it, which is always a relief.

Now, let’s talk about the bag itself. The SLC-130 is a cart bag, and right out of the box, I’m already loving it. It’s lightweight, which is a big change from my old bag, but don’t let that fool you—it’s still built to last. Durability is definitely there despite the lighter weight. The construction feels solid, and I’m already thinking this is going to be a game-changer.

Let’s take a look at the top—this is where the magic happens. As you might guess from the name, the SLC-130 is a silent golf bag. What does that mean? Basically, your clubs are held firmly in place, both at the top and the bottom, so no more clanking around when you’re driving to the course. If you're like me, this has been a major frustration in the past. I drive an SUV, and whenever I toss my clubs into my old bag, they end up scattered all over the place, especially when I’m navigating bumpy roads. Not anymore with the SLC-130! The clubs stay securely in place, and I can already tell this is going to be a huge improvement.

It has 14 slots, including a separate spot for an oversized putter (though I personally use a standard-sized one). But the silent feature is what really stands out for me—no more mess when I get to the course!

Features and Pockets Galore
Moving around the bag, I’m loving the number of pockets and storage options. On both sides, you have plenty of room to store everything you need for a day on the course. Here’s a breakdown of some of the key features:

  • Umbrella pocket: I love that they’ve labeled the pockets clearly, so you know exactly where to stick your umbrella, glove, and towel.

  • Dry pocket: This is where you can stash your phone or other valuables to keep them dry. It’s lined with soft material, so you don’t have to worry about damaging your screen.

  • Insulated cooler pocket: Perfect for drinks on a hot day! It even has a drain hole at the bottom, so your melted ice won’t pool in the bag. Genius!

The bag also includes a magnetic front pocket for easy access to small items like golf balls or a rangefinder, which is a really nice touch. Plus, the pass-through pocket makes it easy to attach to a pull cart.

Back Pocket and Straps
On the back, the bag comes with a full-length rain cover to protect your clubs in case the weather turns. There’s also a place to store your identification information if you’re traveling, which is always a nice touch. And if you ever need to carry the bag manually, the padded straps make it super comfortable. You’ve also got a grab handle for easy lifting.

First Test Drive: The Silent Bag in Action
So, after I got everything organized and transferred my clubs over, it was time to see if the silent feature really worked. I placed my clubs into their designated spots, and the moment of truth came when I flipped the bag upside down... and nothing moved. I couldn’t believe it! My clubs stayed perfectly organized and held in place, just like they promised. No rattling, no clanking—just peace and quiet.

One more thing I have to mention is how well everything is organized. The bag has a specific spot for your scorecard, a pocket for your golf pencil, and everything is easily accessible. When I’m out there on the course, I don’t want to be fumbling through pockets looking for my card. With this bag, everything’s at my fingertips.

Is It Worth the Money? Absolutely!
So, the big question—is this bag worth the price? Without a doubt, yes! The ASKECHO SLC-130 Silent Golf Bag is by far the best golf bag I’ve ever owned. It’s lightweight, durable, and the silent feature alone makes it worth every penny. The bag is well thought out, and you can tell they’ve designed it with golfers in mind.
I can't wait to hit the course with this bag and see how it performs on a full round. If you're tired of your clubs clanking around or if you're just looking for a better-organized, more practical bag, the SLC 130 is definitely the way to go.
Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll catch you next time on the course!
